CSA Canada – Advancing Trusted Security in the Cloud for Canadian Advantage

The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) of Canada chapter is moving forward to advance cloud security maturity for the Canadian marketplace.

Cloud Security Alliance of Canada (CSA Canada) is a registered non-for-profit in the province of Ontario, Canada.

We leverage, build and extend on the work completed by the Cloud Security Alliance with a Canadian lens.

In 2019 we are working to clarify GDPR considerations for Canadian financial enterprises in cooperation with Provititi, while helping mature the secured Canadian cloud computing landscape through various regional events across Canada.

CSA Canada will invest to coordinate and organize actions that address Canadian prioritized cloud security opportunities. This includes coordinating and leading “round-table” sessions so that priorities are clarified, initiatives taken, actioned and executed. At this time two to three executive regional “round-tables” are planned on subjects such as: GDPR, government, financial, AI, block chain and IoT.

Sponsorships for CSA Canada will help execute on specific actions in international working groups, support Canadian prioritized activities, while additionally supporting CSA regional networking events. In 2018 CSA Canada will work on Canadian controls and considerations for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance.
